SECTION 1: Scope of Practice

Nurtured Soul Wellness, LLC provides non-medical cosmetic services within the scope of California esthetics and (electrology-coming soon) regulations.

• Cosmetic Skin Care Services
  Services focus on the surface appearance, comfort, and relaxation of the skin and are cosmetic in nature.

• Electrolysis Services (coming soon)
  Electrolysis is provided for the purpose of permanent hair removal using a pre-sterilized, disposable probe and current applied within the natural follicle opening, consistent with California Board of Barbering & Cosmetology scope requirements.

• Professional Boundaries
  Services do not include medical evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, surgical clearance, or assessment of medical conditions. Any discussion or observation is limited to visible skin surface characteristics relevant to cosmetic services. Medical concerns must be addressed with a licensed medical provider of the guest’s choosing.

SECTION 2: Guest Rights & Agency

Guests have the right to:

• Be treated with dignity and consistent professional boundaries

• Receive services in a sanitary environment maintained in accordance with California Board of Barbering & Cosmetology sanitation requirements

• Ask questions about any cosmetic technique or modality used during a session

• Decline, pause, or stop a service at any time for any reason

• Receive transparent information regarding session rates, deposits, and gift certificate policies, including rights provided under applicable California law

SECTION 3: Privacy & Data Use

Nurtured Soul Wellness respects guest privacy and complies with applicable California consumer privacy laws, including CPRA.

• Information Collection
  Only information reasonably necessary for service coordination, recordkeeping, and session planning is collected.

• Confidentiality
  Guest information is stored securely and is not sold or shared for marketing purposes.

• Access & Correction
  Guests may request access to their records and submit correction requests in accordance with California law.

SECTION 4: Service Documentation (Electrolysis-coming soon)

For guests who request documentation of electrolysis services:

• Service confirmations may include dates, treatment areas, and session durations

• Documentation is provided directly to the guest for personal records

Nurtured Soul Wellness, LLC does not communicate with, bill, or provide documentation directly to insurance providers or third-party entities. Any use or sharing of documentation is at the guest’s discretion.

SECTION 5: Practice Environment & Sanitation

Nurtured Soul Wellness maintains a professional, inclusive environment.

• Sanitation Standards
  All tools and equipment are cleaned and disinfected in accordance with California Board of Barbering & Cosmetology sanitation regulations.

• (Electrolysis-coming soon) Safety
  Single-use, pre-sterilized probes are used for electrolysis sessions and disposed of immediately after use. Electrolysis equipment is handled in accordance with applicable sanitation and safety requirements.

• Conduct
  Harassment or inappropriate behavior is not tolerated. Sessions may be modified or declined to maintain a respectful and safe practice environment.

Service Credits, Packages, and Gift Certificates

This policy applies to all gift certificates, prepaid session packages, service credits, and promotional offers.

1. Redemption & Use

• Scope
  Gift certificates and service credits are valid for the specific service or monetary value stated at the time of purchase.

• Session Requirements
  All sessions are reserved through our secure client portal and require completion of standard intake and preference forms prior to the scheduled session.

• Cash Value
  Gift certificates are not redeemable for cash, except where required by California law.

2. Monetary Gift Certificates (California Compliance)

In accordance with California law:

• No Expiration: Monetary gift certificates do not expire.

• Remaining Balance: Any unused monetary balance retains its full value until redeemed.

• Flexibility: Monetary balances may be applied toward eligible skincare or (electrolysis-coming soon) services offered at the time of redemption.

3. Session Packages & Promotional Credits

Prepaid session packages and promotional credits may be offered from time to time.

• Service Limitation
  Packages and promotional credits may be limited to specific services or durations as disclosed at the time of purchase.

• Promotional Value
  Any promotional or bonus value provided beyond the amount paid:

  • Has no cash value

  • May have an expiration date as permitted by California law

4. Cancellations, Late Arrivals, & Missed Sessions

When a gift certificate, package credit, or service credit is used to reserve a session:

• Short-Notice Changes
  Changes made with less than 24 hours’ notice may result in the applied credit being used for the reserved time.

• Missed Sessions (No Notice)
  If a session is missed without notice, the applied credit will be used for that session.

• Late Arrivals
  Arrivals more than 15 minutes past the scheduled start time without notice may result in a shortened session or rescheduling if the remaining time does not allow the service to be performed as scheduled.

• Protection of Remaining Balances
  Any forfeiture applies only to the specific credit used for that reservation and does not affect remaining monetary gift certificate balances.

5. Exceptional Circumstances

Unexpected situations may arise. Guests are encouraged to communicate as soon as possible if an unforeseen circumstance affects attendance. While this policy is applied consistently, communication is handled with professionalism and care.

6. Transferability & Refunds

• Transferability
  Gift certificates are transferable until applied to a specific client account.

• Account Application
  Once a credit is applied to a client account, it is no longer transferable.

• Refunds
  All gift certificate, package, and service credit purchases are final. Refunds are not provided except where required by California law.

7. Promotional Offers & Discounts

Promotional offers and discount codes:

• Have no cash value

• Are typically single-use

• Cannot be combined with other promotions

• Cannot be applied toward the purchase of gift certificates unless explicitly stated

Comfort Shop – Terms & Conditions

1. Payment & Ordering

Comfort Shop orders are paid in full at the time of purchase. Payments are securely processed through third-party payment processors. All prices are listed in U.S. dollars (USD).

Orders are considered accepted once payment has been successfully processed and confirmed.

2. Shipping & Fulfillment

Comfort Shop products are fulfilled directly by third-party brand partners.

• Delivery
  Processing and delivery timeframes vary by partner. Once an order has been transferred to a carrier, delivery timelines are outside the direct control of Nurtured Soul Wellness, LLC.

3. Returns & Exchanges

Due to the personal nature of Comfort Shop products and third-party fulfillment processes, returns are not accepted once an item has been delivered or opened.

• Damaged or Incorrect Items
  If an item arrives damaged or incorrect, please contact us within 7 days of delivery so we may assist with next steps in coordination with the brand partner.

• Partner Policies
  All replacements or resolutions are subject to the policies and approval of the individual brand partner.

4. Sales Tax – California

Applicable California sales tax for orders shipped within the state will be calculated and displayed at checkout, in accordance with state regulations.
